(Courtesy of JFSCNJ) On March 30, Jewish Family Service of Central NJ collaborated with the Union Y for Federation’s Community Mitzvah Day where volunteers packed Passover boxes for JFSCNJ’s Tomchei Shabbos of Elizabeth, Hillside and Springfield (Shabbat Packages Program), joining over 700 volunteers across several communities throughout the Greater MetroWest area.

Organizers extended their thanks to the Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest NJ for supporting this all-hands on day of services. JFSCNJ Executive Director Russ Shulkes and his family, along with Union Y Executive Director Tara Speyer, worked together with community volunteers and leaders.
