The past Shabbat, students had an incredible time with New Rochelle families at the New Rochelle Westchester Day School Family Shabbaton! The Friday night dinner at Young Israel of New Rochelle brought everyone together to share meaningful moments of connection and delicious food. Shabbat lunch, hosted graciously by WDS families, created an atmosphere of warmth and community. Rabbi Jeff Ney, director of middle school, led a spirited Havdala, setting the tone for an evening filled with entertainment and camaraderie. Head of School Rabbi Dani Rockoff also enjoyed experiencing the unparalleled New Rochelle ruach firsthand—and was thoroughly impressed!
