(Courtesy of Chabad of WO) On Thursday, December 7, Mayor Susan McCartney celebrated the first night of Chanukah, hosted by Rabbi Mendy and Altie Kasowitz of Chabad of West Orange, by helping light a large menorah in front of the West Orange Town Hall.

Township Council members and residents from the West Orange Jewish community enjoyed the Festival of Lights celebrations with traditional music, dancing and doughnuts. Also in attendance was Rabbi Eliezer Zwickler, Rabbi Robert Tobin and Deputy Mayor Larry Rein, who shared words of inspiration.
