WTA eighth graders had the chance to participate in an incredibly meaningful project this year called Names, Not Numbers^©, through which they learned interview and film techniques, and interviewed two Holocaust survivors on tape, making a 40 minute documentary film of the project. On Monday, they held a screening of the eighth graders’ culminating Names, Not Numbers^© film project with parents, grandparents and community members.

WTA was honored to have the Holocaust survivors who the students interviewed in attendance so that they could present them with gifts of gratitude after the filming. It was an incredible evening of food, resilience and transmission of history.
