Additionally, an emergency response vehicle was dedicated in memory of United Hatzalah volunteer Dolev Yehoud, z”l, who left his home in the kibbutz on the morning of Oct. 7 to save the lives of his neighbors and was murdered by Hamas terrorists.
“If Shiri and the children were here, their wish would be to spread goodness and unity among our people; I pray for the day when everyone returns home swiftly,” said Yarden Bibas at the ceremony.

The event was attended by friends and supporters of the organization, members of the Bibas and Yehoud families, Nir Oz kibbutz residents, and United Hatzalah volunteers who bravely saved lives under fire during and after the Oct. 7 massacre.
Sigal Yehoud, wife of Dolev Yehoud, said: “Today, more than ever, I feel like a true part of the United Hatzalah family—they visit, stay in touch, and continue to show me support every day. That’s what makes them so special. Especially after what we’ve endured, I am deeply grateful that Dolev’s legacy continues.”
Yarden Bibas, husband of Shiri and father of Kfir and Ariel, added: “From the place where I was abducted in Nir Oz, today the Wish Ambulance and emergency vehicles are being launched to save lives and spread goodness and unity among our people. … I want to thank United Hatzalah for this moving tribute in memory of my family Shiri, Ariel, and Kfir and I am confident that the new ambulance will fulfill its mission in the best possible way.”

The United Hatzalah Wish Ambulance program was established to fulfill the aspirations of terminally ill and infirm Israelis whose wishes would otherwise be unattainable without specialized medical transport. Through this initiative, United Hatzalah provides complimentary medical transportation services, enabling patients to experience moments such as revisiting special places that are meaningful to them that they cannot go to due to their medical condition.
United Hatzalah Founder and President Eli Beer said during the event: “On the morning of October 7th, United Hatzalah volunteers rushed into the inferno to save lives, including Dolev Yehoud, who gave his life for the mission of saving others. Here in Nir Oz, where lives were so tragically lost, we are now saving lives and bringing hope through these new emergency vehicles that will serve the residents of the region. I am especially moved to launch this Wish Ambulance, which will grant the wishes of those in need, in memory of Shiri, Ariel and Kfir Bibas, precious souls who are dearly missed.”

The inauguration of the new ambulance, ambucycle and emergency vehicle significantly strengthens United Hatzalah’s rapid response capabilities in the southern region and the Gaza Envelope area, ensuring quicker and more efficient emergency medical care for residents and those in need.
