Yavneh Academy expanded its middle school programming this year to include a Big Sister/Brother program. Each eighth grader was partnered with a sixth grade little brother or sister.

The first program featured a pizza lunch where the sixth and eighth grader partners interviewed each other. Then, a “get to know you” game show was played with teams competing to see which pairs knew each other best. Everyone is excited to see the inter-grade bond continue to develop throughout the year, with eighth graders having the opportunity to lead in a meaningful way.

Yavneh staff aims to continue to foster a strong sense of achdut and community within the middle school.
