He’Atid third graders brought their immigration studies to life with a meaningful visit to Ellis Island. After sharing family heirlooms and stories in the classroom, students explored the rich history of immigration through interactive exhibits and a scavenger hunt at the historic landmark.

The ferry ride and stunning views of the Statue of Liberty added to the excitement, making history feel even more tangible. This immersive experience deepened their understanding of the immigrant journey and set the stage for their upcoming Ellis Island simulation PBL fair, where they will showcase their learning in a dynamic and engaging way.
