The students of Yeshivat Noam ‘traveled’ to Israel for the day in celebration of Yom Ha’Atzmaut. Some of the programmatic highlights included: fishing at the beach in Eilat, camel rides in Beer Sheba, davening at the Kotel, hiking in Ein Gedi, digging at an archeological site, dancing to Israeli music, frying falafel, eating Israeli food, creating Israeli music, experiencing an Israel Army Boot Camp training, dining at an Israeli cafe, designing Israeli artwork and speaking in Ivrit. In middle school, students had a blast with an Israeli game show, cooking and especially rollerskating in the gym!
