Yeshivat Noam second graders cross curricular unit about animals culminated with a fantastic, interactive Animal Fair. In this unit, students learned how to research and identify facts using non-fiction texts in their guided reading groups. Using online resources in technology class and learning how to illustrate and make clay figurines in art class, the students each created a visual representation about the animal they chose to study. After gathering their information, the students wrote a paragraph and presented their findings to their peers.
