Yeshivat Noam Faculty and Staff gathered together for a delicious end of year breakfast and closing event sponsored by the Yeshivat Noam Parents Association. Karen Blatt Hirt and Ari Hirt generously sponsored the Annual Marcia Hirt Initiative Award recognizing excellence in education in loving memory of Ari’s mother, Marcia Hirt, z”l. This year’s honor was given to Morah Yocheved Weinbach, elementary school teacher at Yeshivat Noam. Morah Yocheved was recognized for her work in curriculum development, dedication to always improving teaching techniques and, beyond all, her love of her students. Yeshivat Noam celebrated educators and staff who hit 10 and 20 year milestones! The 10 year awardees were Batya Schwartz, Rabbi Motechin, Miriam Shteingart, Leiba Winter, Eliana Baum, Chaya Rochel Krinsky and Kara Feldman. The 20 year awardees were Orna Burg, Caryn Nat, Sarah Rand, Roberta Stoll and Becky Weisberg. Rabbi Binyamin Krohn, rabbi of the Young Israel of Teaneck and the head of the RCBC, addressed the room with words of appreciation, chizuk and Torah. It was an emotional and beautiful morning.
