As a father of a 1 year old living in the Teaneck apartments, I was really looking forward to joining the town pool this summer. Having it at Votee Park made it convenient, affordable and something my family could easily enjoy together. I had planned to sign up this year, but now that the pool has moved across town and the prices have gone up significantly, I no longer plan to join.

Zachary Greenberg captured this frustration well in his letter from the last issue, “Swimming in Unfair Fees at the New Teaneck Municipal Pool.” The new location and pricing structure don’t reflect the needs of all Teaneck residents.
