After Oct. 7, Jews around the world experienced a range of emotions: shock, anger, disillusionment and determination, asking, “What can I do? How can I help?”
Rabbi Chaim Steinmetz, senior rabbi at Cong. Kehilath Jeshurun in New York City and author of Despite Everything: A Chronicle of Jewish Resilience in the Aftermath of October 7th, will explain how he and his congregants struggled to find some meaning and hope. What did he learn? What can everyone learn? The talk will take place on Wednesday, May 7, at 1 p.m. (EDT), 8 p.m. (IDT), via Zoom. Register at yu.edu/despite.
