One of the ways you can assess the potential impact of a slate in the World Zionist Organization election, going on now through May 4, is by taking a look at the qualifications, the passion and the views of the delegates on that slate.
The Zionist Organization of America Coalition, Slate #15, encompasses 36 organizations, including NORPAC, World Likud, One Israel Fund, the Lawfare Project, National Jewish Advocacy Center, the Orthodox Jewish Chamber of Commerce, American Friends of Ateret Cohanim, Americans Against Antisemitism, and Beitar.
The ZOA Coalition website, https://www.votezoacoalition.org, lists seven issues as their platform:
- Jewish students—Protecting Jewish identity and safety on campus
- Israel policy—Strengthening leadership that puts Israel first
- Security funding—Ensuring Israel has the resources to defend itself
- Judea, Samaria, Jerusalem—Safeguarding the heart of the Jewish homeland
- Israel’s soldiers—Providing real support for those who defend Israel
- Terror state—No Palestinian Arab terror state in the Jewish homeland
- Promoting and Strengthening
Aliyah.
Cindy Grosz, a delegate on the ZOA Coalition slate, is known as “The Jewess Patriot” and hosts the popular “Right For America” radio show on WGBB AM/FM. She has been featured on Newsmax, One America News, Real America’s Voice, Frank Speech TV, Sirius Radio and many other outlets. She lives in Long Island and has been involved with ZOA for over a decade.
Asked why she decided to serve as a delegate on the ZOA slate, Grosz told The Jewish Link: “I believe Jewish power lies in legislation, and nobody has the ability to bring elected officials and educated Jewish activists together like ZOA. Putting Israel first is a key for Western democracy to thrive in the present and future. Israel is the Jewish state, but it also is the only Middle East country where Jews, Christians and Muslims live together. Today, in 2025, we still haven’t been able to make up for the loss of Jewish life from the Holocaust and because of Israel, Jews will never have to worry about closed borders.”
Chagit Leviev is the CEO of the Leviev Group USA, and president of Leviev Diamonds, located on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. She is also president of the Bukharian Jewish Congress of the USA. She lives in Queens.

Leviev shared with The Jewish Link: “I wanted to bring representation to my own community that has not had a voice at the WZO until now. My long-standing relationship with WZO Chairman Yaakov Hagoel, whom I’ve had the honor of hosting in our community over the years, inspired me to take on this mission and work toward a meaningful change.
“Ensuring a strong Jewish future through education is particularly important to me. As president of Ohr Avner USA, I see firsthand how access to Jewish education strengthens identity, community, and connection to Israel. Ohr Avner operates schools that provide free or subsidized Jewish education, helping children from public schools transition into a strong Jewish learning environment. This mission aligns perfectly with ZOA’s commitment to strengthening Jewish life and Israel’s future.”
Rivka Sonts helps to run her family business, The Park Med Spa in Highland Park, where she also serves as the public relations director. Additionally, she runs a PR firm specializing in strategic communications, Jewish advocacy and education, amplifying Israel’s story, and public affairs. She is currently promoting the ”Tragic Awakening” film premieres nationwide, along with securing speaking engagements for the cast—including producer Raphael Shore, director Wayne Kopping and main narrator Rawan Osman.
Sonts lives in Highland Park, and her involvement with ZOA goes back 15 years when she served on the Young Professionals Board. She has also participated in multiple ZOA lobbying missions.
She told The Jewish Link: “I joined the ZOA slate because it is the only major Jewish organization that fully aligns with my values—strengthening U.S.-Israel relations, ensuring Israel’s security, supporting a one-state solution, taking a hardline approach against terrorists, and fighting antisemitism with full force both in the U.S. and abroad.

“When the opportunity arose to be on the slate, I immediately accepted, as I knew I could make a real impact on behalf of the Jewish people. This includes decisions on allocating $1.5 billion to the World Zionist Congress—funds that must be used to strengthen Israel and the Jewish people worldwide.
“While all of ZOA’s principles are deeply important to me, I believe it is critical that we do not establish a terrorist state in the Jewish homeland. Oct. 7 proved once again that Israel does not have a peace partner—only enemies who seek to annihilate the Jewish people. The Trump administration proposed relocating Palestinian populations to other countries, a solution that would ensure the safety and security of Israel and the entire Middle East region. I firmly believe this is the path forward to protect Israel from future threats and secure a strong and thriving Jewish state.”
