Community Supports Those Struggling With Fertility

Singles Advocate and I Was Supposed to Have A Baby will present “Im Yirtza Hashem By You,” an evening dedicated to exploring how community can support those struggling with fertility issues and those dealing with the challenges of singlehood.

In a bid to foster inclusivity and support within the community, a groundbreaking initiative is underway to address the silent struggles of two vulnerable populations: individuals grappling with fertility challenges and those navigating singlehood. Both groups share profound experiences of loneliness, ongoing grief and exclusion, compounded by insensitivity and lack of understanding. Through sensitivity training and education, the aim is to enhance community cohesion, compassion, unity and empathy.

Dr Aimee Baron, founder and executive director of I Was Supposed to Have A Baby, and Singles Advocate Tzipora Grodko, LMSW, will present twice in the tri-state area next week. On Tuesday, April 2, they will be in Teaneck at Cong. Rinat Yisrael, 389 West Englewood Ave. On Wednesday, April 3, they will be in the Five Towns at the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC, 207 Grove Ave., Cedarhurst, New York. Both programs start at 8 p.m. and there is a suggestion donation of $18 at the door.

For further information, contact Baron at [email protected]  or (917) 331-2285.
