Last week, Westchester Torah Academy came back from Winter Break to Rosh Chodesh Adar. As always, Middle School gathered together in the lobby and welcomed the younger grades to join them for Hallel B’Tzibur. So what’s different in Adar? Topsy Turvy Day! Everyone enjoyed dressing as inside-out and upside-down as they could.
WTA also celebrated the 100th day of the 2022-2023 school year. Both students and teachers had fun dressing up like they were 100 years old! Additionally, everyone pulled together to fill in the Chesed board with 100 Acts of Kindness. Students, teachers, and even parents wrote little notes about a chesed that was done for them, and it took no time at all to fill the entire board!
Ending the week on a high note, the 8th Grade started off their Better Together program. WTA students visited The Bristal Assisted Living Facility in White Plains to share experiences and stories with the residents. Kol HaKavod 8th grade!
