Elizabeth—Over 100 students from the JEC led a public menorah-lighting ceremony on Wednesday, December 28, the fifth night of Chanukah.

The ceremony took place on the front lawn of the Jewish Educational Center building in Elizabeth, and was attended by Elizabeth mayor Chris Bollwage, along with other local dignitaries and religious officials.

The six-foot menorah, handmade several years ago by JEC faculty, was lit, followed by the distribution of sufganiyot and singing by the students.
