12u Teaneck Travel Savors Another Big Win

After a very impressive 9-2 victory in Week 1 against Fort Lee, the 12u Teaneck Travel team went on the road to take on Ramsey. Eli Zaretsky set the tone early by lacing the first pitch of the game into centerfield and scoring by stealing home. Natan Solomon drilled a shot to leftfield scoring Joey Zelig, who himself scored two runs. Abie Schwartz, Akiva Boyarsky and Yair Wall each had an RBI, and Yis Kamintsky stole two bases and scored a run.

The defense was the key to this game, as spectacular plays were made all over the field: Aaron Epstein made a run-saving leaping catch in leftfield, Caleb Wolin saved another run with a strong play at third base and Zelig made an acrobatic catch in centerfield.

Netanel Eckman pitched two strong innings, striking out three batters to secure a 7-4 victory.

The team is coached by Ari Eckman, Chaim Schwartz and Adam Wall.
