At the annual grand משניות and תניא בעל פה ceremony, 323 talmidim were awarded seforim and other Judaic prizes, accumulating a grand total of 52,168 lines of משניות and תניא בעל פה this year. Two hundred פרקים of תניא and 350 פרקים of משניות were learned and reviewed this year.

The highlight of the event was an inspiring address by Rabbi Mordechai Kanelsky, who shared his experience in yechidus as a child during which the rebbe tested him on תניא בעל פה.

Rabbi Mordechai and Mrs. Shterney Kanelsky of Bris Avrohom have been long time supporters of the תניא בעל פה project in United Lubavitcher Yeshiva, which they dedicated in loving memory of their daughter Bat Sheva, z”l, as part of the Bat Sheva Mitzvah Campaign to greet Moshiach.
