The Bruriah Lightning improved to 2-0 with a 3-1 win on the road at Kushner. Undermanned with players sidelined by illness or injury, the Lightning found themselves down 1-0 entering the second. Senior Avigayil Wiener tied the score for the Lightning off a feed from senior Nikki Bick. The score remained tied through the remainder of the first half and all of the third on excellent saves by both goalies. Bick gave the Lightning the go ahead goal at about the 12:00 mark in the fourth and a cushion a short time after, both solo goals. Goalies Frayda Glucksman and Rivka Gutmann had a combined 18 saves on goal.
