Why choose Liberty Science Center for a Passover family outing? There are hundreds of great experiences for families with children ages 2-14 and most are included at no additional charge with basic admission or membership.

See two traveling exhibitions that are closing soon. At Sesame Street Presents: The Body, kids ages 2-8 can learn about good nutrition, exercise, and other ways to keep their bodies in tip-top shape. For older family members ages 6 to adults, Beyond Rubik’s Cube explores creativity, robotics, math, and more. You can even learn how to solve the Cube!

Other exhibitions include a special play space for children under 5; an exhibit on the Hudson River featuring giant tanks of huge fish; an exhibit about animals with a mini zoo featuring tiny monkeys and weird insects; a gallery dedicated to health including a real lab where you can do experiments; and more.

LSC’s newest experience is the massive Infinity Climber where adults and children can climb on platforms, reaching as high as 35 feet above the floor. A wire mesh surrounding the Climber keeps everyone safe while allowing those outside to watch family members on their adventures.

Admission to the Science Center also includes free live science shows all day, including the new Tesla Lightning Show, where twin, million-volt Tesla Coils shoot out lightning bolts while creating music by vibrating air waves in the theater. Other shows focus on rocketry, the states of matter, and energy.
