In commemoration of “March for Meals Month,” Hillside Police Lieutenant Michael Katsoudas and Police Officer Natalie Ogonowski joined forces with Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey to deliver Kosher Meals to the home-bound residents of Hillside, New Jersey. The event was spearheaded by Jewish Family Service (JFS) Vice President, Seth Dombeck, Esq., a longtime resident of Hillside and managing partner of Rubin & Dombeck, LLC, attorneys located in Teaneck. The month of March mobilizes hundreds of local Meals on Wheels programs across the country to reach out to their communities and build the support that will sustain them all year long.
Jewish Family Service of Central NJ, a non-sectarian health and social service agency, has been delivering Kosher Meals on Wheels to the residents in around Union County, NJ for the past 15 years. The Agency serves over 90 meals a day, five days a week, to the home-bound frail elderly.
