Noam Fifth Graders Craft Mezuzahs

In art class the Yeshivat Noam fifth grade boys learned about ceremonial and ritual objects in Jewish culture and then made mezuzah cases out of clay. They first formed their creations, then waited for the clay to dry for about two weeks. Next, they bisque-fired the clay so that it turned into ceramic, and the students later painted and glazed them with special attention to detail. Each mezuzah case created by these young artists was unique and beautiful.
