Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School hosted the final Yeshiva High School Poetry Slam of the school year. Yeshiva high schools within the Tri-State area meet monthly to “slam.” Poetry is a highly personal art form, and “slamming” gives the audience the opportunity to take a peek into the writer’s mind. HANC, Flatbush, Frisch, SAR and SKA participated in last week’s event, alongside Kushner students. Participants across all grades were able to enter the competition. The RKYHS student body sat in on the final round of the competition as judges selected the winners.
