As part of their bar mitzvah programming, the JKHA seventh grade boys participated in the “Taste of Greatness” project. Students had the opportunity to research a great Torah personality and interview someone who had a relationship with that individual. Students and cousins Josh and Charles Lando researched and presented on the chief rabbi of Yerushalayim, Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank, their great great grandfather. The message for students was that we are the next link in the chain of our tradition that has carried on for thousands of years and that greatness is within our reach.
