The Teaneck community is invited to join Lizette Parker, Elie Y. Katz and Mohammed Hameeduddin on Wednesday, July 15 from 7-9pm at the Rodda Community Center, Room MP1, for a brief seminar entitled, “What You Need To Know About Safety and Security Throughout Our Town.” Topics will include: planning, development, organization and implementation of safety and security programs, the development and maintenance of cooperative relationships with local public safety official, training in modern safety and security techniques, and the inspection of buildings, homes and grounds to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
Speakers are expected from the following municipal departments: Teaneck Police Department – Chief Robert Carney, Teaneck Police Chaplain – Rabbi Abe Friedman, Teaneck Fire Department – Chief Anthony Verley, Bergen County Sheriff – Sheriff Michael Saudino, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office – William Stallone. Also expected are representatives from the Bomb Squad/K-9 unit and the Bergen County Risk Mitigation Planner’s office.
