Lamdeinu Hosts Eighth Annual Chanukah Breakfast Sunday, December 11

(Courtesy of Lamdeinu) Lamdeinu, an educational institute in Teaneck that provides high-level Torah learning for women and men of all ages, will host its Eighth Annual Chanukah Breakfast on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 9:15 a.m.

This year, we are delighted to honor Ruth Krasner, an active Lamdeinu member and supporter. Ruth has been a devoted Lamdeinu student since its inception. An avid Parshanut HaMikra student, she studies with Dean Rachel Friedman at Lamdeinu every Monday. A past officer and board member of Amit Women, Ruth is devoted to Torah learning and Israel. Most recently she was instrumental in founding a committee at Young Israel of New Rochelle to promote female scholars. A retired occupational therapist and instructor at the Touro School of Occupational Therapy, she and her husband, Dan, divide their time between the U.S. and Israel, where they enjoy visiting with their children and grandchildren. Ruth is grateful to Lamdeinu for making Torah learning so accessible, enjoyable and rewarding.

This year, we are proud to present the Lamdeinu Gemilut Chesed award to Esti Mellul, who served as program director for Lamdeinu from 2018-2021. Esti is now working as a campaign manager for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. She is an accomplished singer-songwriter, an avid Torah learner and a big fan of the important work Lamdeinu does and the amazing people Lamdeinu brings together.

Lamdeinu’s Chanukah Breakfast is chaired by Mollie K. Fisch and Ina Tropper. Speakers will include Ruth Krasner and Esti Mellul as well as Dean Rachel Friedman.

Please join us at the Lamdeinu Breakfast on December 11 at Congregation Beth Aaron, 950 Queen Anne Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666. To register, please visit www.lamdeinu.org/breakfast by November 29. You may contact Program Director Debbie Negari at [email protected] with any questions.

If you cannot participate in person, Lamdeinu is grateful for your tax-deductible donation and support. Donations may be made online at www.lamdeinu.org.

Lamdeinu looks forward to celebrating with you!
