TABC Annual Dinner Raises $1.2M for Bruce Ritholtz, z”l Scholarship Fund

(Courtesy of TABC) Torah Academy of Bergen County welcomed over 500 guests to its 40th Annual Dinner on Wednesday night, January 4. Rachel and Azi Mandel were recognized as Guests of Honor, Bonnie and George Silfen received the Service Award and Rabbi Ben Krinsky ‘05 received the Faculty Recognition Award. It was a memorable evening with meaningful tributes, delicious food, good friends, and most importantly the trademark warmth of TABC. With generous contributions from parents, alumni, honoree guests and the larger community, TABC raised over $1.2 million, a record-setting number for the annual campaign.

The Dinner theme was “Family Forever” and the evening concluded with the debut of the latest song and music video out of TABC’s state-of-the-art Studio 1600, aptly titled “You’re My Family.” Mr. Jacob Spadaro, director of TABC’s Music Conservatory, and his senior elective class composed an original upbeat song about brotherhood, אחדות, and community, which reflects the unparalleled warmth and unique feeling of belonging that TABC students, parents and faculty experience when they join the TABC family.

All the dinner videos can be viewed at tabc.org/dinner2023 and the song, in addition to other music from Studio 1600, can be found on Apple Music and Spotify.
