Yeshivat Noam’s 10th Annual Golf & Tennis Outing

The Yeshivat Noam 10th Annual Outing was a resounding success on July 27 at White Beeches Golf and Country Club. In addition to over 100 golfers enjoying a beautiful day on the course, over 30 women attended the activities of the day; an exercise class with Rachel Ashendorf, a beautiful lunch on the terrace and a painting class by Nikki Sausen of Paint With Me!.

The event co-chairs responsible for this success were Abie Cohen, Vice President of Development, Michael Graber and Jason Suss. These dedicated leaders spent hours recruiting golfers and managing event logistics. Some of the many highlights of the day were the giveaways, including a Nike jacket, power chargers as a gift from event sponsor The Rothenberg Law Firm: InjuryLawyer.com, golf balls sponsored by Kindersmiles, t-shirts donated by TD Bank and a great gym bag sponsored by Chestnut Holdings and Jacob Solomon Employee Benefits.

The outing was dedicated in loving memory of Jerry Pasternak, z’’l. His son-in-law, Jason Suss, spoke at the event: “As we all reflect on the heartbreaking loss of our beloved Jerry Pasternak, we are reminded of so many inspirational and happy memories. Any encounter with Jerry always ended with a smile or a laugh. Jerry was a man that was full of life, saw things from a positive perspective, and was deeply loved by all. Jerry had many passions, but three that really stood out—Torah, family and the game of golf—is [sic] what really attracted him to the Noam golf outing … He had the opportunity to support his grandchildren’s yeshiva day school in a fun and memorable way. Jerry was very instrumental in taking this outing to new heights and gave all participants a fantastic day they will never forget ….”

The money raised at the outing supports the school’s scholarship fund. The leadership of Dalia Stelzer and Rena Zelig, co-chairs of the raffle and auction, were an integral part of raising scholarship funds.
