JCC Metrowest Announces Winners of 21st Annual Gaelen Juried Art Show & Sale

Show is free and open to the public at Gaelen Gallery East until July 27.

(Courtesy of JCC MetroWest) Winners of the 21st Annual Gaelen Juried Art Show & Sale have been announced. Awards were presented for Best in Show and Best in the following categories: Drawing/Pastels, Mixed Media, Painting, Photography and Sculpture. Best in Show was awarded to Kevin Goldman’s painting, “Scott Avett and Tania.” The distinguished juror was Virginia Schaffer Block, artist and founder of Studio Montclair.

The show is free and open to the public; it runs through July 27 at the Gaelen Gallery East, located at JCC MetroWest, Leon & Toby Cooperman Campus, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange. Winners will be exhibited at JCC MetroWest throughout the 2022-2023 Gaelen Arts season. To purchase or for further information, please contact Lisa Suss at 973-530-3413 or [email protected].

The Annual Gaelen Juried Art Show & Sale is the continued realization of Audrey and the late Norbert Gaelen’s dream to offer talented and creative artists a unique and prestigious venue for their art. It is highly selective with 43 artists from the greater MetroWest area represented by over 66 works of art, with most of the show’s art available for purchase.
