(Courtesy of Pashman Stein Walder Hayden) Pashman Stein Walder Hayden is pleased to announce that Alec R. Borenstein has joined as counsel in the firm’s Trusts & Estates, Corporate & Business Law, and Commercial Real Estate practices. Prior to joining Pashman Stein, Borenstein was a partner at Borenstein, McConnell & Calpin PC.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alec to our firm,” said firm Chair and Managing Partner Michael S. Stein. “With his strong presence and client base in New Jersey and New York, he provides even greater depth to our Trusts & Estates practice group and enhances our ability to provide outstanding law services throughout the region.”

“Alec’s character, experience, and commitment to the practice and his clients are a great addition to our strategically and thoughtfully growing Trust & Estate and Elder Law group, “ added Naomi Becker Collier, co-chair of the Trusts & Estates and Elder Law & Special Needs Planning practices. “Jumping right in with both feet, it is clear in only a few short days that he was the piece of the puzzle that we did not know was missing.”

Borenstein’s estate planning practice includes drafting wills and trusts, including revocable trusts, grantor trusts and charitable trusts. Alec also advises business owners on business and succession planning, including operating agreements, shareholder agreements and commercial leases. He is currently pursuing an LL.M. in Taxation at Loyola Law School.

Borenstein earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School cum laude and his B.A. from Columbia University. He is the first vice president of Congregation Shaare Tefillah.
