After learning about the classes of animals throughout the year, Yavneh Academy first grade students enjoyed a hands-on experience at the Tenafly Nature Center. The trip began with students sharing lots of background knowledge with the presenters. Then, they had the opportunity to touch different reptiles and amphibians. The trip concluded with a hike during which the students enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the nature center.
