On Monday morning,The Moriah School early childhood enjoyed a beautiful celebration in honor of Rosh Chodesh Sivan. The children heard a Shavuot themed story read by Morah Divsha, and then picked flowers from Har Sinai and created colorful garlands. They then filled their baskets with fruit (to remind them of the bikurim, first fruits, that were brought to Yerushalayim around Shavuot time). They were so excited for Shavuot to celebrate when the Jewish people received the Torah.
