Yeshivat He’Atid Receives Arts Grant

Yeshivat He’Atid was awarded a grant from The Legacy Heritage Fund’s Teacher Institute for the Arts. This grant helped Yeshivat He’Atid create a beautiful student-driven piece of art. Morah Amy Bruschansky and Morah Ari Pardo led the students as they brainstormed ideas about art that symbolizes community. The students decided to make a beehive-inspired art piece. Just as bees work together for the good of their hive, people work together for the greater good of their community. They created their “beehive” using neurographic art to represent both the individual and collective community in Yeshivat He’Atid. While each shape has its own color and unique form, together, the neurographic pieces create a beautiful and complementary piece. The students wrote Hebrew words relating to happiness, community and connection within the design. This piece will serve as a reminder to the students about what positive collaborations within their community can create.
