On Thursday, September 15, Yavneh Academy first graders joined International Dot Day which celebrates creativity, courage and collaboration. The students read “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds and created incredible dots. The enthusiasm was infectious. They watched classes from all over the world celebrate Dot Day. Dots were everywhere! Students made dots with their feet, dot necklaces, collaborative dot posters and even healthy dot fruit snacks. They learned that if you love something, be courageous, try it and see where it takes you. The students joined more than 25 million people in 200 countries celebrating Dot Day!
