On September 20, the Naaleh students enjoyed a yom iyun focused on Rosh Hashanah. The event began with Hatarat Nedarim and was followed by learning sessions led by members of the Naaleh faculty. Each student was able to choose from a variety of shiurim to create a customized schedule based on her interests. The shiurim ranged from practical halachos of Rosh Hashanah, to interpretations and kavanos for the tefilos of the Yamim Noraim, to an art project creating beautiful honey spoons. The vibrancy of Torah ideas and preparation for Yom Hadin was palpable throughout the halls, and the sessions were enjoyed by all. The program ended off with delicious Rosh Hashanah themed snacks. Thank you to Michael and Julie Friedman for sponsonsoring this meaningful event.
