Moriah’s pre-k is busy preparing for Yom Kippur. The children learned how on this important day, they tell Hashem that they are sorry for their mistakes from the past year. Everyone must try to make up for what they have done and improve for the new year. Students discussed one way they could do this is to be a kind friend. Each child brainstormed something they could do to be a good friend this year. The children came up with many ideas such as, cheering someone up when they are sad and sharing their toys. They then compiled each child’s idea into a special friendship book from the whole class. Everyone is excited to bring in the new year and put all the ideas into practice!
