He’Atid seventh graders went back in time to create the first-ever Yeshivat He’Atid Renaissance Fair! The students used what they learned through their medieval studies course and gathered information to write a thorough research essay on a medieval topic while simultaneously using their knowledge to bring their studies to life.
This dynamic Project Based Learning activity allowed the children to explore medieval history in a deeper and memorable way. They did an excellent job at the Renaissance Fair where they exhibited medieval life, covering various topics including medieval diet, clothing, music, entertainment, warfare, medicine, crime and punishment, art, home life and medieval games.
They exhibited their dedication and hard work by presenting their topics at the fair so beautifully! Each group led an informative and interactive presentation along with handmade artifacts. Everyone was beyond impressed with their collaboration, creativity, enthusiasm, drive and commitment to their learning.
