On Monday night, the Rambam Ravens traveled from Long Island to kick off the varsity hockey season for TABC Storm. TABC came out strong, but the Ravens were up to task. Finally with 3:34 to go in the first period, senior captain Eitan Adler connected on a loose ball in front of the net to break the tie. TABC would not look back from there. Three more goals within the first 8:00 of the second period were scored by the Storm. Junior Matis Krause sent a beautiful pass through the middle to linemate Shay Fields to make it 2-0. Just a few minutes later, Fields threw the ball to the corner to find Eitan Adler barreling his way to the net for a goal. And finally, the last goal of the night was scored by Krause, and assisted by Fields, bringing the score 4-0. It was a real team victory as every player on the team contributed on the floor. Goalies Chaim Mermelstein, Amichai Dresdner and Adam Farbowitz combined for a shutout in net. The Storm continue their season next week as they travel to Long Island to play HAFTR.
