The Jewish Link and The Humble Toast would like to recognize Molly Jacobs as this week’s Sportstar of the Week. The seventh grader at The Yavneh Academy scored two goals, including the game winner with one minute left, and an assist in a 3-2 win 14U Girls Teaneck Soccer League championship game! When asked about Molly, her dad and coach Brian Jacobs told The Jewish Link, “Molly’s passion and excitement is contagious on any team or field she plays on. Not only does she encourage her teammates to play their best, she makes sure they’re having fun as well. When the game was on the line and our best scorer was out, Molly rose to the occasion and was determined to score the winning goal. Molly’s a great leader, teammate and friend to everyone she’s played with.”
