Over Sukkot vacation, Aliza and Sara Gans, a fifth grader and third grader at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey, wanted to host a few friends for a chesed project. They spoke with Jordan Silvestri, the area coordinator for OHEL Children’s Services who recommended they make goody bags filled with clips, headbands and other hair accessories. “We love having pretty things to style our hair with, and we hope other people enjoy having fun with their new accessories, too,” the Gans girls said. “It was fun getting to pack the bags with our friends, too.”
