Last week the Varsity Rapids came out with intensity. Senior Adina Rosenberg had 19 points, mostly from breaks resulting in either layups or foul shots. Senior, Nachama Stern also added 10 points, including a crowd pleasing 3-pointer at the buzzer before the half.

Senior forward, Shana Adler and junior point guard, Alyssa Felder knocked in 10 points each to help the Rapids push ahead. Solid rebounding by junior Amanda Solomon and seniors Sydnee Anderson, Racheli Zirman and Gabi Lerner gave their team opportunities for extra putbacks. Juniors Tamar Segal, Michal Horn and Racheli Zomberg brought in their aggressive style of play as well, and Horn was 3-for-3 from the free throw line. This team is proving to the league that they are going to give each game 100% and no opponent is in for an easy match.
