Some topics are better learned in a classroom, others in the parking lot. This past Thursday, four mechanics from AAA came to present to Ma’ayanot seniors on basic automotive safety, including how to change a tire, how to jump-start a stalled car and how to troubleshoot under the hood.

Senior Talia Ritholtz commented, “The program was really informative—I’m glad they were brought in to speak with us.” Her classmate Abby Stiefel concurred and noted, “This program broke through the stereotype that men are the ones who deal with cars. Now we know that we can take care of ourselves in the event of a car emergency.”
