Students serving on Ma’ayanot’s Holiday Enhancement Committee created a meaningful Veterans Day tribute. The program started with Hatikvah and the Star-Spangled Banner, accompanied by Assistant Principal Mrs. Tamar Appel on the piano. Naomi Sanft (‘17) created a slide show containing photos and information about family members of Ma’ayanot faculty and students who served in the Armed Forces. The program concluded with a recitation of the tefillah for American Armed Forces, in Hebrew by Hannah Segal (‘16) and in English by Meira Prager (‘18).
