Maayanot’s varsity B volleyball team beat the Magen David Warriors in an exciting confrontation. The scores were 25-16, 19-25, and 21-17 in favor of the Rapids. Several weeks back, when the Rapids met the Warriors for the very first game of the season, the Rapids were defeated. In this competition, the Rapids wanted the win, and they wanted it badly. The amazing Aderet Brenner was unstoppable with her consistent and fierce serves. Sarah Rogers, Dani Wind and Tili Tsour played great defensive and offensive games. Setter Yakira Escott had some fabulous sets, tips and serves as well. Tamar Dubin displayed her strength and agility with some serious hitting. Shoshana Dimbert subbed in with some excellent passes and helped the team secure the win in the first game. Ma’ayanot Varsity B Rapids now has a record of 6-2.
