Linking Northern and Central NJ, Bronx, Manhattan, Westchester and CT

All of the learning about Pesach that has been taking place all over JKHA early childhood and lower school culminated in beautiful model Sedarim. Led by their teachers, the children had the opportunity to put into practice all that they have studied. From Kadesh to Nirtza, the children were active participants and eager to share their knowledge. The Sedarim were filled with their learning and music as each child read and sang from the personal Haggadah that they had worked on over the last few weeks, and ate all of the items traditionally found at the Seder. Third graders were excited to use the printed copies of their digital Haggadot. Third grade students worked on integrated Judaic studies-technology projects and created digital Haggadot. They used an online book creator tool and created digital eBooks where they embedded media content, designed with text, recorded divrei Torah, made reenactment videos and sang songs for an interactive Haggadah experience. Students received a hard copy to be used at the Seder.

Special thank you to Kushner Parent Activities Committee for sponsoring the model Seder event and to the tremendous parent volunteers for all of the preparation and set up.
