Netivot second graders created miniature models for Haggadah content. This speaks to the interest based learning in Montessori where the work takes on a game-like, fun manner. They decorated their own miniature work rug where they can lay out and present all of the various activities they created to teach their family throughout the Seder.

This year in Halacha, Upper Elementary students have been learning about the process of making cloth, like the parochet for the Mishkan. For Pesach they weaved and tied fabric to make pillows to be used for leaning at the Seder.

Primary students created an interactive Haggadah so they could follow along the steps of the Seder with a corresponding handmade miniature object. This project acted as a compilation of practical life and art skills that they have learned so far in school. They invested a lot of time, creativity and concentration, and are very proud of their accomplishment.
