Color War broke out at Tenafly Chabad Academy this week, when one teacher got very upset, called the principal and walked out of class. Students were stunned and all gathered together to figure out how to bring their beloved teacher back to class. She came back into class and they told her how much they loved her and what strategies they were planning to fix what was bothering her. She then told them that the only thing that could be done to bring her back was to have a color war! Everyone erupted into cheers and the blue team of Yetziat Mitzrayim and the yellow team of Matan Torah were born.

The two days of color war were a truly memorable experience. Teams Matan Torah and Yetziat Mitzrayim put on an impressive display of teamwork and enthusiasm. The days began with a moving davening that set the tone for the rest of color war. The students participated in a variety of exciting activities including sports games, a scavenger hunt and a creative cupcake war. The students’ hard work and dedication were evident as they worked on their presentations and projects for the final presentations.

In the end both teams did an amazing job. Team Matan Torah pulled ahead winning by only five points.
