This past Thursday night, Rabbi Kenny Schiowitz, associate principal of the Ramaz Upper School, visited Ramaz alumni at the Columbia/Barnard Hillel and offered a mishmar shiur. This visit was part of an ongoing program in which Ramaz faculty visit and teach shiurim for alumni at campuses across the country (and in Israel). So far this year, students at Bar Ilan University, Binghamton University, Boston University, Harvard University, Hunter University, IDC, University of Maryland and Yeshiva University, came together to hear shiurim from their high school teachers on campus. Good food, good Torah and great company was shared.
