Heichal HaTorah talmidim enjoyed an inspiring and invigorating 10th-grade shabbaton this past week in Passaic. Immediately after yeshiva on Friday, all sophomore students went for lunch at the Lighthouse Cafe in Aisle One before arriving at their host’s homes for Shabbos. The talmidim davened together Friday night at Congregation Bais Shalom with a beautiful kabbalas Shabbos led by ninth-grade rebbe Rav Shimon Kronenberg, followed by a seuda and divrei Torah from 10th-grade talmid, Jakey Abenaim and ninth and 10th-grade rabbeim, Rav Dovid Komet and Rav Ronen Davash. The learning was followed by a beautiful oneg Shabbos, attended by over 100 Heichal talmidim from all grades who joined. Seuda shelishis hosted by the Snitow family, with divrei Torah from 10th-grade talmid, Akiva Snitow, Rav Elie Zakutinsky and Rav Aryeh Stechler. It was a wonderful shabbos full of friendship, learning and ruach.
