MDS Parent Education Series Stamps Out Antisemitism

More than 60 parents and grandparents attended a fascinating discussion at MDS with New York Times columnist Bret Stephens, the first of a four-part series on antisemitism and how to speak to children about it. With his unique acerbic wit, Stephens spoke about the societal trends he finds most concerning for Jews, including the racialization of people, a growing victim mentality and the idea of white privilege. It was a spirited talk and follow-up discussion and left everyone with much food for thought. There was also a delicious dinner catered by Noi Due. The series is possible thanks to an anonymous grant and is co-sponsored by the Parent Council. Everyone is invited to the next installment on March 1.
